Both Manchester clubs are in action tonight with both still seeking their first wins in the competition. Last year's runners-up United are on the road against Champions League debutants FC Otelulu Galati in Romania, having drawn their opening two group games against Benfica and FC Basel.

City meanwhile will look to bounce back from their loss, controversial for Carlos Tevez' off-field antics, against Bayern Munich. They host Spanish side Villareal at the Eastlands.

In other football news, Patrice Evra says he will pursue claims of alleged racist abuse by Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

Good news for Arsenal as Thomas Vermaelen signs a new long-term deal at the Emirates Stadium.

In the SPL, Celtic midfielder Beram Kayal has also committed his future, signing a new deal until the end of the 2014/15 season.
