Rugby World Cup
South Africa have hammered Namibia in Pool D by a 87-0 scoreline in the only game of the day. England have recalled Mike Tindall to the side for the match against Romania. It's the first time since his controversial night out in a New Zealand club that Zara Phillips husband has been involved, having captained the side in the opening match against Argentina. He's one of seven changes to the side who beat Georgia 41-10 and is joined by Jonny Wilkinson and Mark Cueto.

Horse Racing
There's action on the flats at Newmarket and Pontefract, whilst Wolverhampton hosts the all-weather meeting in the evening. For jumps action there's Perth and Fairyhouse.
